Welcome

JACLYN CLARKE, M.Ed, LCPC, DIRECTOR OF CHILD & ADOLESCENT SERVICES

I believe in the power of humor, movement, and connection to guide your path to change. I recognize the benefits of psychosomatic understanding and empower those to explore cues from the physical self to enhance coping with stress and anxiety of the emotional and mental self.

In my clinical practice, I support people across the lifespan and from different backgrounds. I specialize in working with children and adolescents alongside their parents, fostering a collaborative approach to healing and growth within families. I also have clinical experience working with young adults and adults. I have clinical training and honed skills to assist those facing stress, complex anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and the challenges of life transitions. I firmly believe that the foundation of successful therapy rests upon creating a safe, authentic space where clients of all identities can delve into their inner worlds and express themselves freely.

Central to my approach is the cultivation of self-awareness and self-compassion. By exploring your needs and building upon existing strengths, we can work towards building healthier relationships, both with yourself and with others. Leading with cultural humility and your pre-existing methods of self-discovery, I incorporate an understanding of cultural and societal influences that shape each person’s experience, advocating for their unique journey toward self-fulfillment and empowerment.

I use a combination of approaches to best fit the needs of my clients including:

In addition to providing therapy services, I am also motivated to uplift other clinicians through providing continuing education training to other professionals in the field. I am grateful to have presented for the University of Illinois Chicago Jane Addams College of Social Work and Big Brother Big Sister of Metropolitan Chicago. In addition, I lead bi-monthly hands-on play therapy workshops for clinician groups and support individuals in play therapy consultations.

Past training topics include:
